Working closely with Novak Construction as both the electrical contractor and Professional Engineer of Record, Connelly Electric was integral to the innovative transformation of this historic Chicago landmark. Our expertise was essential in converting the 1938 Sears building into a vibrant mixed-use development, combining residential and retail spaces. The project included retrofitting the original structure, expanding it with a new five-story wing along Cicero Avenue, and adding a vertical extension to create a sixth floor. Through our design/build approach, we successfully integrated complex electrical systems into this large-scale redevelopment, which features 206 luxury apartments and 50,000 SF of retail space.

Our team's forward-thinking electrical solutions power a range of exceptional amenities, including the rooftop terrace, outdoor pool, and 6th-floor speakeasy.
