Exchange 55 - Target Warehouse/Distribution Center

Connelly Electric partnered with Morgan Harbour Construction and Cornerstone Architects to construct a ground-up construction of a 992,904 SF speculative industrial warehouse and distribution facility for Hilco Redevelopment Partners, located on the former Crawford Station power plant in Chicago's West Side Little Village neighborhood.  Exchange 55 offers a strategic landscape for e-commerce, logistics and intermodal freight. The building is suitable for e-commerce companies, food & cold storage, manufacturing, distribution, rail, and heavy power users.   Site improvements include pedestrian and bike-friendly improvements along Pulaski, extensive landscaping, infrastructure for electric vehicles, traffic signal improvements, and other enhancements.   This facility is one of the largest distribution centers in Chicago.

Electrical systems installed by Connelly Electric included:  (4) 4000-amp electrical services, (1) 500KW backup generator, over 80 distribution / panelboards, (2) power distributions centers for fast / rapid charging forklift charging stations, 2 EV car charging stations, power distribution for over 11 miles of conveyors, Warehouse & office build out with over 10,000 lighting fixtures.
