Chicago Premium Outlets

Connelly Electric partnered with Graycor Construction and Simon properties to build a new expansion for Chicago Premium Outlets.  The construction on the 45-acre parcel increased the size of Chicago Premium Outlets by almost two-thirds for 50 new stores and added amenities including Charging stations, WIFI, decorative lighting, fountains, fire pits, and custom decorative structures.  LED Parking lot lighting was installed for the added 1900 parking spaces for added customer parking.  The overall electrical scope included multi-tenant metering for a total of 14,000 amps of utility power for 7 new buildings; the installation of a mile and a half of ComEd Primary conduit along with (9) underground primary vaults; the addition of 46 new parking lot light poles, 71 decorative walkway pole lights, and 163 decorative wall sconces; and the provision of lighting, power, horizontal cabling, security, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.

• The coordination of Fire Alarm systems for all the new TI build outs 
• The coordination of the utility duct bank and infrastructure with the onsite utility contractors and ComEd. 
• Through collaboration with MDA Engineering, the provision of cost effective solutions for power distribution to the buildings.
