Amazon ORD 5 Matteson

Connelly Electric partnered with Whiting Turner Construction to build the 3.9M SF Amazon distribution and packaging center with 30K SF office space.  This 5-level center (not including work platforms) has lunchrooms and breakrooms on every level, robotic sorters on every floor, and 2200 parking stalls for cars and trailers. There is a truck EV charging area for 20 tractors.  The construction also includes (2) pump houses for domestic and fire, (1) 750 KW natural gas generator for the life safety and IDF rooms, and (4) MHE shafts for conveyors.  

Benefits Delivered: 

By using prefabrication, Connelly Electric was able to maintain the aggressive 12-month schedule on this 3.8M SF project with an on-time completion.
